From teacher training and school lunch programs to library construction and scholarships, Givology emphasizes transparency and maximizing the impact per dollar given. Every child deserves the right to a proper education.
Givology started with a team of students at the University of Pennsylvania. Since its launch in 2008, the team has raised more than $400,000 to help over 2,800+ students in 26 countries through 46 grassroots partnerships. Givology pioneers a new model of “crowd-sourcing” philanthropy to make the largest impact at the lowest cost. As a 100% volunteer-driven organization, Givology has received the Intel’s Award for “Best Student-Run Social Enterprise”, “Top Education Non-profit”, by GreatNonprofits, “Technology in Education” prize by Education Without Borders and Ford Focus Finalist.
