Run On bridges the gap between people in wheelchairs who want to run and students who want to push them within two different programs. (1) The high school program, where we help high school students in wheelchairs run with their school’s teams, and (2) The racing program, where we help wheelchair bound individuals of all ages compete in marathons, half marathons, and more for free!
Run On Athletes report higher confidence, increased high school graduation rates, improved performance in school, and a better outlook on life. Communities that integrate Run On report higher amounts of service, community outreach, and a lower rate of bullying.
Run On works with both Corporate Sponsors and Private Partners to fund their organization. Private Partnership funds are used to purchase specialized running wheelchairs for Athletes, while Corporate Sponsorship funds are used to cover overhead costs.
